Coaching at AASC!

Every volunteer makes a difference in making soccer possible for kids in our community! New to coaching? No problem! We’re grateful for every volunteer who steps up to support our players and help make soccer a great experience for our community. Our coaches are an important part of creating a positive, fun, and supportive environment where players can learn, grow, and enjoy the game.

Our Coaches Onboarding Process

We want to make becoming an AASC coach simple and straightforward. Our onboarding process helps ensure every coach has the training, screening, and resources they need before stepping onto the field.

1. Express Your Interest

Let us know you’re interested in volunteering as a coach. Our AASC division directors manage and organize our coaches and teams each season.

2. Complete Coaching Requirements

All coaches must complete the required certifications, training, and screening before coaching a team.

3. Attend our Coaches Meeting

Join us for an informative coaches meeting where we’ll go over everything you need to know for the season, including club expectations, schedules, communication, team information, and coaching resources.

4. Get on the Field!

With your onboarding complete, you’re ready to start coaching and help create a positive, fun, and supportive soccer experience for our players.

Coaching Requirements

Every coach must complete #2 & #3 requirements before volunteering to coach an AASC team. These requirements help ensure our coaches are prepared, supported, and equipped to provide a safe, positive, and development-focused soccer experience for all players.
